The Georgia Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories will be closed on Thursday, November 22 & Friday, November 23, 2018 to celebrate Thanksgiving. We will resume normal operating hours on Monday, November 26, 2018. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Effectively immediately, the UGA Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories in Athens and Tifton now requires two pieces of information before test results and other case information can be provided on the phone:
• The submitting veterinarian’s license number
• The clinic/institution’s unique Laboratory account number
If the two pieces of identifying information cannot be provided, results can be sent via the preferred results transmission method on record in our system but will not be given verbally on the phone. We apologize for any inconvenience this additional security measure may cause, but the confidentiality of your test results is of utmost importance to us.
