2016 Photo Contest Results

The results from the judges are in, and our top 25 “winning” photos for 2016 have been identified. This was no easy task as we received more than 150 amazing photos! Below, in alphabetical order, is the list of the winning entries. These photos will be enlarged and displayed in our Veterinary Education Center in 2017.

We also want to recognize all of those who took the time to participate in this contest. Thank you so much for sharing your photos with us. All images submitted will be used to create a special photo book that will be available for viewing in the Hospital's lobbies in the spring.

About the Contest

The UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s Picture Your Pet Photo Contest is held periodically and is open to any former or current Hospital or Community Practice Clinic client.

Photos entered are divided into the following categories for judging: dogs, cats, exotic animals, horses and farm animals. Entries are judged based on overall photo quality and sense of emotion and/or personality exhibited. The winning entries are displayed in the Veterinary Education Center and all entries are turned into a photo book that is available for viewing in the Hospital’s lobbies.

Photos must be high-resolution using a camera 6 megapixels or higher. Limit one photo per animal entered. Please, no photos taken by a professional photographer.
