Research Interests

​My research interests include the potential development of macrocylic lactone resistance to Dirofilaria immitis, canine heartworm. Also, we are researching the initial events in the establishment of the parasite/host niche by filarial worms, specifically Brugia malayi, one of the causative agents of lymphatic filariasis.

Currently, I am the director of the Filariasis Research Reagent Resource Center (FR3). This NIH-funded resource provides filarial reagents to researchers across North America. Click here for more information.
