Which Courses?

There are specific courses you will need to register for at specific times.

Interns not pursuing a MS or PhD:

First Summer, Fall, Spring, Maymester, and second Summer(usually 1st short session):

  • LAMS 7500 Large Animal Intern
  • LAMS 7650 Seminars in Large Animal Medicine 

Residents not pursuing a MS or PhD

Fall, Spring, and Summer Year 1:

  • LAMS 7650 Seminars in Large Animal Medicine
  • LAMS 7610 Large Animal Residency I

Fall, Spring, and Summer Year 2:

  • LAMS 7650 Seminars in Large Animal Medicine
  • LAMS 7620 Large Animal Residency II

Fall, Spring, and Summer Year 3 :

  • LAMS 7650 Seminars in Large Animal Medicine
  • LAMS 7630 Large Animal Residency III
  • LAMS 7640 Large Animal Residency IV (by special permission) 

Residents pursuing a MS or PhD: 

Courses will be determined in consult with your Graduate Advisor. These will be combined with selected residency courses listed above to complete your enrollment requirements.

The exact list of courses you take should be selected through consultation with your major professor and your advisory committee.
