Two alumni-owned veterinary practices from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine were recognized on the 2026 Bulldog 100 list, earning standout rankings among the fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UGA graduates. The Bulldog 100 Celebration was held in Athens on Feb. 7, 2026, where the ranked list was officially revealed and alumni business leaders were honored.
Good Dog Veterinary Care, led by Patrick Singletary (BSA ’12, DVM ’16) and Natalie Singletary (BSED ’12), ranked No. 24 overall—placing the practice among the top 25 fastest-growing UGA-affiliated businesses. Whitmire Animal Hospital, owned by Will Gholston (DVM ’11) and Kristina Gholston (BBA ’11), earned a spot at No. 93, marking another year of sustained growth and success for the Dawsonville-based practice.
Each year, Bulldog 100 companies are measured by their compounded annual growth rate over a three-year period. The 2026 honorees spanned 10 states, with 85 companies headquartered in Georgia, highlighting the broad impact of UGA alumni entrepreneurship.
Good Dog Veterinary Care, Georgia’s first all-dog veterinary practice, opened in 2019 in Marietta and has experienced rapid expansion. Since 2023, the practice has grown to three locations—West Cobb, Smyrna, and East Cobb—while maintaining a strong commitment to exceptional care and community engagement. Good Dog Veterinary Care is also a continued sponsor of the College’s annual Dean’s Tailgate, supporting connections among alumni and friends each fall.

Founded in 2018, Whitmire Animal Hospital is a privately owned, full-service small animal practice serving North Georgia. The recently expanded clinic is built on a foundation of trust, respect, and patient advocacy and has been recognized multiple years in a row as a Best of Dawson recipient for Best Pet Care and Best Veterinary Services.
The Bulldog 100 embodies the best of what the University of Georgia stands for, and these alumni exemplify that spirit—leading the veterinary profession through innovative business growth while strengthening the communities they serve.
