Adapting to Change: Legal Requirements related to the future of practicing of Veterinary Medicine

This course has been approved by the State Board for Veterinarians AND Veterinary Technicians
2 hour LEAP presentation will cover four main areas for practitioners:
- Current VCPR and Telemedicine requirements, and recent changes in other jurisdictions which may influence the future of our own practice act in Georgia.
- Requirements for usage of AI: current requirements under the practice act related to AI as well as restrictions in other professions that are being implemented.
- Supervision and abilities of Veterinary Technicians and the concept of “mid-level practitioners”
- Record Keeping requirements and the Spectrum of care: compliance with new Georgia Veterinary State Board Rules and documenting options and consent.
