A continuing education event focusing on common, practical surgical diseases in cats. Didactic lectures in the morning will focus on disease processes, decision making, surgical techniques, and potential complications. Afternoon instructional laboratories will have hands on opportunities for participants to practice the procedures. Instruction will focus on surgical conditions common in feline emergency medicine and general practice.

This will be a two day course including lectures and wet labs.

The course will be hosted at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Classic Campus, 501 D.W. Brooks Drive.

Registration is limited to 50 participants. Registration closes July 24, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. OR earlier if registration capacity is reached. There is not a late registration option for this course.

Course fee: $800 (includes a very light breakfast of pastries and coffee, lunch both days, and all lab materials)

• Registrants will receive 16 CE hours for this course.
• Attendees should bring appropriate attire for cadaver wet lab participation
