SUMMARY:Dean's Tailgate 2023
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to welcome all CVM alumni\, faculty\, staff and students to the 2023 CVM Annual Dean’s Tailgate scheduled for October 7th as UGA takes on Kentucky between the hedges! Festivities will commence three hours prior to kickoff at the CVM Lameness Paddock\, located off East Campus Rd.\, with game time being announced closer to time. \nWe owe a big thank you to our friends at Good Dog Veterinary Care\, whose generous sponsorship ensures this year’s tailgate to be an absolutely paw-some experience! \nIf you have any questions\, please do not hesitate to reach out to ellensims@uga.edu! \nClick here to register! \nAbout our Dean’s Tailgate Sponsors:\nGood Dog Veterinary Care \nDr. Patrick and Natalie Singletary envisioned a veterinary practice that prioritized care for their team\, patients\, and clients. Their vision materialized in 2019 with the opening of Good Dog Veterinary Care West Cobb\, the first and only “all-dog” veterinary practice in Georgia. Starting as a small\, one DVM practice with three team members\, it expanded by 2022 to a 4 DVM practice with 25 team members. This growth inspired the establishment of a second location\, Good Dog Veterinary Care Smyrna\, maintaining the same mission and values while growing to a 7 DVM practice with a total of 35 team members. Dr. Singletary remains faithfully committed to UGA CVM and is deeply passionate about mentoring the next generation of veterinarians. The practice looks forward to hosting over 30 veterinary student externs in 2023 and 2024 for mentorship opportunities.
