DESCRIPTION:This event is part of the department’s seminar series for graduate students. \n“Drug resistance in fungal pathogens: capturing genome dynamics in real time.” \nDr. Anna Selmecki is an Associate Professor and Dean’s Fellow at the University of Minnesota\, Medical School\, Department of  Microbiology and Immunology. She works on the Program in Antimicrobial Resistance and Drug Discovery within the University of Minnesota Institute of Infectious Diseases. Dr. Selmecki earned her PhD in molecular\, cellular\, developmental biology and genetics from the University of Minnesota and completed her post-docs the University of Minnesota and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
