DESCRIPTION:This event is part of the department’s seminar series for graduate students. \n“Integration of omics approaches in diagnostic microbiology” \nDr. Grazieli Maboni is an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia\, College of Veterinary Medicine\, Department of Population Health\, Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center. She earned her PhD in microbiology and molecular biology at the University of Nottingham and DVM and master’s degree at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Dr. Maboni is board certified in virology and bacteriology/mycology and completed her residency in veterinary clinical microbiology at UGA. Her work focuses on bacterial and viral infections in chickens and performing avian microbiology diagnostic services.
