DESCRIPTION:This event is part of the department’s seminar series for graduate students. \n“Investigating α-synuclein transmission from the gut: new models of Parkinson’s disease” \nDr. Danielle Mor is an Assistant Professor at Augusta University\, Medical College of Georgia\, Department of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine. She earned her PhD in neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Princeton University. Dr. Mor’s research focuses on Parkinson’s disease and using high-resolution imaging and RNA-sequencing approaches to identify factors that lead to regulation of a-synuclein prion-like spreading.
