DESCRIPTION:This event is part of the department’s seminar series for graduate students. \n“Motherhood\, malaria and the microbiome: a multifaceted view of protection and pathogenesis” \nDr. Julie Moore is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Infectious Diseases & Immunology at the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Science at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Moore’s research focuses on the fundamental biology of the host-parasite interaction in malaria during pregnancy.
