DESCRIPTION:This event is part of the department’s seminar series for graduate students. \n“Decoding a pathogen’s deceptive sweet nothings with AI\, systems and synthetic glycobiology” \nDr. Nathan Lewis is a Professor and GRA Eminent Scholar in Molecular Cell Biology at the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in the University of Georgia’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. Additionally\, he is a member of the Center of Molecular Medicine and the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center. He joined the University in 2024\, and his research focuses on glycobiology and biomanufacturing. Furthermore\, he is a co-founder of research companies Augment Biologics Inc. and Neulmmune Inc.
