SUMMARY:Management of Common Feline Surgical Emergencies in Small Animal Practice
DESCRIPTION:A continuing education event focusing on common\, practical surgical diseases in cats. Didactic lectures in the morning will focus on disease processes\, decision making\, surgical techniques\, and potential complications. Afternoon instructional laboratories will have hands on opportunities for participants to practice the procedures. Instruction will focus on surgical conditions common in feline emergency medicine and general practice. \nThis will be a two day course including lectures and wet labs. \nThe course will be hosted at the College of Veterinary Medicine\, Classic Campus\, 501 D.W. Brooks Drive. \nRegistration is limited to 50 participants. Registration closes July 19\, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. OR earlier if registration capacity is reached.
