The 3rd hour is for Q&A only\, and does not provide any CE credit.\n2 hour LEAP presentation will cover:\n\nProvide practicing veterinarians and veterinary technicians with an understanding of The Practice Act and related rules for veterinarians and veterinary technicians\nResponsibilities of veterinarians including different types of supervision\nExpansion and clarification of duties of technicians and assistants in the state of Georgia\nRecord keeping and related requirements\nUse of veterinary technicians and assistants\nAI and the ethical usage of AI\nTelemedicine requirements\n\n\n\nState board approval has been received for this course. \nCourse material will be presented by Don Riddick\, Esq. \nRegistration Closes July 26\, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. There will be no late registrations available for this course. \nOnce registration has closed\, participants will receive an email with ZOOM instructions for active participation and documented attendance. \nCourse Fee: $150 \n\nThis course is approved for veterinarians and veterinary technicians. SUMMARY:Management of Common Feline Surgical Emergencies in Small Animal Practice
DESCRIPTION:A continuing education event focusing on common\, practical surgical diseases in cats. Didactic lectures in the morning will focus on disease processes\, decision making\, surgical techniques\, and potential complications. Afternoon instructional laboratories will have hands on opportunities for participants to practice the procedures. Instruction will focus on surgical conditions common in feline emergency medicine and general practice. \nThis will be a two day course including lectures and wet labs. \nThe course will be hosted at the College of Veterinary Medicine\, Classic Campus\, 501 D.W. Brooks Drive. \nRegistration is limited to 50 participants. Registration closes July 19\, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. OR earlier if registration capacity is reached.
