Professor Zannad contributed to generating most of the evidence behind the foundational medical therapies in heart failure and its co-morbidities (sleep apnea\, diabetes\, hyperkalemia\, kidney disease). He is a highly cited researcher (h-index: 151) who has significantly contributed to building evidence supporting modern drug therapy for heart failure\, including mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists\, beta-blockers\, and SGLT2inhibitors. He recently led two important European Union granted research programs on omics biomarkers and fibrosis as a biological target. \nProfessor Zannad served as Chairman of the French Society of Hypertension and of the Working Group on Pharmacology and Drug Therapy of the European Society of Cardiology. He is also leading mechanic deciphering of cardiovascular disease using a biomarker approach (omics and fibrosis). As the founder and Chairman of the global CardioVascular Clinical Trialist (CVCT) think tank\, he helps progressing the science of randomized clinical trials\, and training future clinical trialists. \nSponsored by The College of Veterinary Medicine and the One Health Initiative \nEvent contact: Jon Mochel
