This course offers 16 hours of CE credit. Focused on reptiles\, birds & small mammal diagnostic procedures using the 2.7mm telescope system This is a practical course with very limited classroom time. DESCRIPTION:This event is part of the department’s seminar series for graduate students. \n“Integration of omics approaches in diagnostic microbiology” \nDr. Grazieli Maboni is an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia\, College of Veterinary Medicine\, Department of Population Health\, Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center. She earned her PhD in microbiology and molecular biology at the University of Nottingham and DVM and master’s degree at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Dr. Maboni is board certified in virology and bacteriology/mycology and completed her residency in veterinary clinical microbiology at UGA. Her work focuses on bacterial and viral infections in chickens and performing avian microbiology diagnostic services.

DESCRIPTION:The Outpatient Medicine Section at the University of Georgia is comprised of services in which the majority of our patients are treated on an outpatient basis. \nJoin us VIRTUALLY December 9-10 to hear some great updates on the diagnosis and management of diseases in small animal and exotic patients from UGA clinicians. You will hear lectures from the specialties of Cardiology\, Dermatology\, Exotics\, Medical Oncology\, Nutrition & guest speakers from our Pet Health Center. \nWe hope that the virtual format will allow you to obtain some high level CE during this busy time of year. \nThe ZOOM link and conference notes will be sent to registered participants a few days prior to the event.
