Jim and Lisa Wallace are proud pet parents and supporters of the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. The Wallaces are dedicated to the Siberian Husky breed and have welcomed seven generations of huskies into their family. Many of them have been patients at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

“We have used UGA for several of our generational huskies, four of which had different types of cancers,” the Wallaces tell us. “UGA was instrumental in prolonging each one of their lives.” After working with UGA, Jim and Lisa became strong supporters and donors to the College of Veterinary Medicine. They are hopeful that their support will “help the community and the animals of those less fortunate to afford veterinary care and gain access to the most incredible healthcare in the veterinary world. We also want to support those wanting to attend UGA’s veterinary school, but who need the funds in order to fulfill those dreams.”
