RBW Artwork Thank you to everyone who participated in our inaugural Rainbow Bridge Walk on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital! We are grateful for the overwhelming support we received from our clients and community and look forward to offering this event in the years to come.

The Rainbow Bridge Walk was created by our hospital’s clinical counselor, Noelle Browning, MSW, LCSW, as an opportunity to bring our community together to celebrate and honor the human-animal bond. Named after the beloved “Rainbow Bridge” poem, the event featured remembrance activities, grief resources, live animal demonstrations, music, and a group memorial walk with luminaria honoring cherished animals who have passed. The walk was open to all current and former hospital clients, staff, veterinary clinics, and the general public.
