Our large animal emergency & critical care team is ready 24/7 to provide rapid evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of large animal emergencies. We are equipped to handle a wide range of critical conditions, and our staff is trained to respond quickly and effectively.

In-Hospital Emergency Services

Our large animal hospital offers comprehensive 24/7 emergency and critical care services for animals requiring urgent medical attention due to injury or illness. Please call ahead at 706.542.3223 so we can be prepared for your arrival.

On-the-Farm Emergency Services

Have an emergency at home? Our team is available to CURRENT large animal ambulatory service clients that live within 30 miles of our facility. All other clients will need to bring their animal(s) to our facility if they need urgent or emergent care.

Critical Care Services

Our Critical Care Service is also staffed 24/7 and manages the care of animals in our Large Animal Intensive Care Unit (ICU). These cases often require advanced, continuous medical support and close monitoring by specially trained veterinarians and technicians.

  • 24-hour monitoring by trained technicians and veterinarians
  • Intravenous fluid therapy

  • Oxygen support for severe respiratory difficulty
  • Intravenous medications
  • Cardiac monitoring
