Our MRI system is being upgraded and will be unavailable Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25. Limited availability is expected for the remainder of the week.
For cases arising over the weekend of August 22–23 that may require an MRI, please contact our Emergency Service before bringing or referring a patient for evaluation. We will have limited capacity during this time. Thank you for your patience while we complete this upgrade.
The UGA Large Animal Hospital provides routine care, specialty treatments and surgeries, and emergency services for equine and farm animals. We offer both in-hospital and on-the-farm services depending on your animal’s needs and your farm’s location. Be advised some treatments can only be performed in-hospital.
