- Lameness evaluations
- The lameness exam includes musculoskeletal palpation, watching the horse move, as well as performing flexion tests to help identify the lame limb(s). Further diagnostic tests may be recommended to help localize the lameness to a specific region of the limb following by radiographs and/or ultrasound. Once the source of the lameness has been found, our doctors can discuss treatment options to get the horse back to work.
