Our production medicine team provides on-site services to dairy and beef operations throughout the state of Georgia, working closely with both producers and veterinarians to improve herd health and support long-term economic sustainability of livestock enterprises.
In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses in individual animals, our clinicians assess management practices, evaluate nutrition programs, assess the farm environment, and provide guidance in genetic selection. Each visit is designed to support producers in achieving healthier herds, improved performance, and long-term success.
To help serve the entire state of Georgia, our team is divided into two locations:
- Athens, GA: Based at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital
- Tifton, GA: Based at the UGA Tifton Diagnostic Laboratory
