The VTH Surgery Coordinator is a fluid position that involves extensive communication throughout each day with various services to facilitate the scheduling of surgical, endoscopic and MRI procedures.  Ensures all necessary diagnostics have been completed in a timely fashion and assists in the facilitation of needed diagnostics if necessary. This position will interact with key stakeholders in the hospital that drive the patient flow throughout the surgical/imaging service areas. Emergency Front Desk Associate

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital has multiple shifts open now for our Emergency Front Desk.  The primary responsibility for this position will be to assist the Emergency Critical Care team on setting appointments and receiving emergency patients during evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. The ECC Vet Asst. will assist clients in delivering their pets to the ECC team which may include lifting/restraining and transporting into the ER. The Anesthesia Service Area is seeking an experienced RVT to administer anesthetics to veterinary patients, including but not limited to domestics, exotics and large animals. The position also will instruct veterinary students, rotating tech school seniors, fellow technicians, and other personnel in veterinary fields in the administration of anesthetics and the use of anesthesia equipment.
