The Zoological Medicine service will see any exotic pet, including birds, geckos, rabbits, snakes, ferrets, turtles and fish. In addition to seeing both first opinion and referral animals in the hospital, they also provide a visiting field service to aviaries, zoos, pet shops, and other collections.

The Wildlife Treatment Center was established to provide medical treatment and care for injured wildlife. The center accepts a variety of injured animals, EXCEPT venomous reptiles or animals that may be infected with rabies and are likely to bite people — raccoons, foxes, coyotes or skunks — or deer or other large animals. We also cannot accept uninjured wildlife.
