Graduate Student, Kyle Lab
Biography

Justine Shiau received her bachelor’s degree in biology at Pennsyvania State University in 2015. Since then, Shiau has been working on malaria transmission related research. She joined Dr. Dennis Kyle lab at the University of Georgia in 2019. Shiau hopes to utilize in vitro models to complete Plasmodium falciparum’s life cycle and use this tool to identify unique drug resistence markers and study host/vector-parasite interactions.
