Our modern, 7,000 square foot facility is located in beautiful Dacula, Georgia just 30 miles from Atlanta and Athens. We offer laser surgery, endoscopy, digital radiography, a full dental suite with digital dental radiography, ultrasound/echocardiography, cold laser therapy, in-house laboratory, and Surgivet anesthesia monitors. We utilize Fear Free animal handling to ensure the best patient experience and provide exceptional client service, making each visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Our doctors love their job and are well supported by experienced veterinary assistants with a 2:1 ratio of assistants to DVM’s. Description:
Apalachee River Animal Hospital is seeking a new graduate or experienced veterinarian to join our team. Internship trained or 2+ years small animal experience is preferred.
Regular day time shifts or urgent care shifts (no overnights) available.
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the State of Georgia or be license eligible.
Respectful and compassionate demeanor with clients, pets, and colleagues/staff.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must uphold the practice’s good reputation with the community.
Committed to providing the best medicine, both in diagnostics and treatment
General surgical skills are desired.
Must be able to keep thorough medical records using our electronic medical record software.
The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace a team-oriented approach, and be committed to continued education.
