Specific Responsibilities:
· Supervision of necropsy
· Use data capture system(s) to enter pathology findings
· Perform microscopic and macroscopic tissue evaluation
· Generate comprehensive repot narratives detailing all test article effects
· As required, function as Principal Investigator or Study Director
· Function as a pathology working group (PWG) or peer review pathologist
· Consult in pathology-related issues
Qualifications:
· Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree (D.V.M / V.M.D) required, board exam completion preferred (not required)
· Certification from the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (DACVP)
· Training/experience in toxicology and/or medical device pathology, or equivalent combination of experience and education in clinical and anatomical pathology
