Whitmire Animal Hospital is a rapidly growing, small-animal practice located on GA400 near Lake Lanier and the Forsyth/Dawson County border. Established in August 2018, we are a full-service clinic with state-of-the-art new equipment, emphasizing a focus on exceptional customer service and client communication.

Our current five full-time DVM practice is actively hiring a new graduate or experienced associate to join our expanding practice as a full-time veterinarian. Our clinic currently operates 6 days a week on an appointment and walk-in schedule, with no after-hours emergency care. Our highly desired location in the newly developed Dawsonville, only 30 minutes from both Alpharetta and the North Georgia mountains of Dahlonega, is ideal for a work-life balance with a 4-day work week. Some of our services include: digital radiography, ultrasound, complete in-house blood diagnostics, dental cleanings/extractions and radiographs, soft-tissue surgery, orthopedics (including TPLOs, MPLs, FHOs, etc.) and overall wellness. We do not currently offer boarding or grooming.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for veterinary medicine and a team-oriented mentality with an excellent attitude who can uphold our great reputation with clients. We have built our practice on a foundation of being trustworthy, respectful and advocating for our patients. Any experience level considered.

We offer a generous compensation package including premium health and dental insurance, annual PTO, annual CE allowance, professional membership fees/dues financial assistance and help with relocation costs.
