Biography

I received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a minor in Spanish from UGA in 2015. I then obtained a Master of Science in Preclinical Sciences from Mercer University in 2018. I have since worked as a research technician in Dr. Daniel Mead’s lab at the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study in the College of Veterinary Medicine. I am also a PhD candidate in the Department of Infectious Diseases, researching wild turkey infections and diseases and West Nile virus in wildlife hosts.
