Biography
Wendy worked in private veterinary practice in England, Florida and Georgia for over 10 years before her role as the Associate State Veterinarian for the GA Dept of Agriculture where she was responsible for the Animal Health Section. She is currently the Director of Veterinary Services for the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. Wendy was appointed in 2020 to the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine. She holds an MPH from Emory University and is a Diplomate of the American College Veterinary Preventive Medicine. She is currently pursuing her PhD focusing on AMR as it relates to both animal and human health.
