- The CVM Freezer Farm facilities provides a centralized, secure and backed-up long-term cold storage (-80°C) of specimens/reagents.
- These facilities are monitored twice daily during the work week and remotely on evening and weekends via a remote digital communication link to each freezer.
- Each facility has at least one empty CVM-owned freezer as a backup freezer.
