FLOW CYTOMETER
The CVI provides cytometry services to investigators for cell sorting. Our instrument is located in room 1559 of the CVI at 119 Carlton St.
FACSAria Fusion
Equipped with 4 lasers (Violet, Blue, Yellow, and Red) and exclusively operated by our BD FACSAria Fusion Operator.
- Up to 13 colors sorting for immunophenotyping
- Sorting and analysis of CFP, GFP, YFP, mRFP, mTomato, CFP and mCherry gene expression proteins
- DNA analysis using standard dyes (Hoeschst, DAPI, PI, 7-AAD, etc.)
- Cells can be sorted into 15ml falcon, 5ml FACS tubes and Eppendorf, or single cell sorting into 6, 24, 48, 96, or 384-well plates for culture and slides
- Biohazardous cell sorting for BSL2 samples is feasible
