OCONEE HUMANE PET CARE CLINIC–HYBRID VETERINARIAN POSITION
Veterinarian position: FT/PT. Would you like to join a team dedicated to improving the lives of Oconee County pets and pet owners? The Oconee Humane Pet Care Clinic is looking to hire an additional veterinarian. New grads are welcome to apply. We perform S/N surgeries on both owned and shelter pets in addition to dental extractions, enucleations, amputations, tumor removal and more. We provide care for Oconee Humane Society shelter pets, providing exams and treatment as indicated. In our first 6 months of operation, we performed over 1000 surgeries, 2000 exams, multiple diagnostic tests and only performed 2 medically indicated humane euthanasia. We are located in the northwest corner of SC surrounded by mountains, lakes, waterfalls and all the beauty that nature can provide. We are 1 hour from Greenville and just over 1 hour from Asheville, NC. Both of these small cities are known for their entertainment and high end culinary options.
Our clinic that opened in November 2022 is equipped with 2 surgery tables, 2 isoflurane anesthetic vaporizers, an active waste anesthetic gas evacuation system, Dentalaire Prestige mobile dental station, IV fluid pump, electroscalpel surgical unit, multiparameter anesthetic monitor, wet table and more. An experienced veterinarian is on staff to help with mentoring. No weekend, holiday or evening hours.
