For Georgia. For Generations.

We are envisioning and exploring innovative approaches to revolutionize how we care for the animals that play such a vital role in our world. With the unwavering support of our alumni, donors, and friends, we are shaping the future of veterinary medicine, empowering the next generation of highly trained veterinarians and researchers to enhance the lives of both animals and people. Together, we are not just meeting the challenges of today but going beyond the expected to create lasting, positive change for tomorrow.

Safer, Faster, Smarter: Bringing Standing CT to UGA

At UGA VetMed, we are committed to being at the forefront of veterinary medicine to ensure our patients receive the best care possible and our students gain valuable experience in advanced patient care. To achieve this goal, acquiring a standing CT scan has become a top priority for the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This newly approved project will distinguish UGA from other veterinary institutions, making us one of the few hospitals in the Southeast to possess this state-of-the-art equipment. Learn more about our standing CT campaign and how you can make an impact.
