Collection Protocol

Individually bag whole heads with sinuses intact or aseptically swab sinuses or trachea. If needed contact the lab for specific protocols. Up to 5 samples can be combined for 1 PCR pool. Please let the lab know if the samples are already pooled or need to be pooled.

Shipping Requirements

Place heads in individual bags and ship with ample ice packs in insulated container. DO NOT FREEZE. For international samples on FTA cards, please include the FTA international permit.
