Our Mission

At the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, we heed the call to go above and beyond for people and animals. Our core mission is to train the future generation of veterinarians and bring world-class education to passionate students.

But we push beyond the expected scope of a college of veterinary medicine -we managed COVID testing for South Georgia, support our students with a network of relentless care and more. When we see an opportunity for our research, educators, facilities and technology to be activated, you know UGA VetMed will be there.
