UGA SMART Pharmacology Lab
We are always seeking motivated students to join our lab. A successful candidate will contribute to efforts focusing on drug discovery and personalized medicine as well as the development of new organoid cell lines for future studies. An ideal PhD/Master’s candidate will have a strong background in cell biology and/or pharmacology and experience in execution of biological assays, a willingness to learn 3D cell culturing techniques, and new lab skills where needed. Undergraduates are expected to be detail oriented and have a willingness to learn and read up on literature.
The SMART lab prides itself on an inclusive and team-oriented environment with a strong publication record. The candidate will be working closely with knowledgeable fellow lab mates and must work well in a team and contribute to a positive and enjoyable work environment, aiming to advance research and utilize cutting-edge techniques in this state-of-the-art laboratory.
