2025 Feline Health Symposium

The 2025 Feline Health Symposium will bring nationally known experts in feline medicine to UGA for a weekend of one-of-a-kind continuing education, accounting for 10 hours of CE credit. Lectures will focus on feline behavior, establishing a feline friendly practice, updates on treatment of FIP, the approach to feline fever, SGLT2 inhibitors for treatment of diabetes, updates on Feline Veterinary Medical Association guidelines, recommendations for feline anesthesia, and recommendations for managing upper respiratory infections in cats in shelter situations. The first 30 participants will have the option of signing up for a behavior skills laboratory.

Please note – UGA is hosting the SEC Swim and Dive Competition during this week in February. Due to this specific UGA event, this office was unable to obtain any hotel blocks for Feb 21-23. Suggestions for accommodations would be Commerce, GA or Madison, GA, or options such as VRBO or Airbnb.
