“Oxidative Metabolism at the Core of Pneumococcal Virulence: Mechanisms and Translational Potential:

Dr. Jorge Vidal is a Professor in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology and the Center for Immunology and Microbial Research at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Vidal earned his PhD in Cellular Biology from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City in 2006 and completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Pittsburg School of Medicine in 2009.
