Family-owned and operated Animal Clinic of Woodruff is looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our thriving team! Our three-doctor clinic dedicates every day to the health and well-being of our animal patients. This small animal private practice boasts a friendly, casual, team-oriented atmosphere and the doctors are very collaborative with a common goal: the health and well-being of their animal patients. Best of all, with work/life balance in mind, they are closed on the weekend and each doctor also gets two Fridays off per month, and only works a half-day on the other Fridays.
This position is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. two Fridays per month, with no “on-call” or weekend shifts. We’re looking for someone who wants to expand their skill sets and knowledge in a friendly, casual, team-oriented setting. Our doctors collaborate frequently and have special interests in soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, cytology, and working up challenging cases. Our appointment-only clinic offers a 2:1 tech to doctor ratio, in-house labs, and no overnights or boarding. Each day, doctors are provided ample time between morning and afternoon appointments for lunch and charting. Veterinarians have all license fees, AVMA membership, and AVMA liability insurance paid for. We also offer employee pet discounts.
Animal Clinic of Woodruff is located in an expanding area of Upstate South Carolina within a day’s drive to Asheville, Charleston, Atlanta, the mountains, or the beach. Our office is just 10 minutes from Spartanburg, S.C., and 20 minutes from Greenville, S.C. We have two referral hospitals and two emergency clinics less than 30 minutes away.
Our clinic includes a DR X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab with blood work machines, as well as a Kardia portable EKG. Additionally, all of our records are digitized as we are a “paperless” clinic.
