Dearborn Animal Hospital, Decatur GA – Is looking for a full time associate veterinarian. We are a busy multi doctor, AAHA accredited small animal practice with emphasis on doctor/ client relationships. We are celebrating 75 years of being a privately, locally owned and operated hospital with a commitment to remain an independently owned hospital. The teamwork and mutual support among our doctors is extraordinary.
We are looking for a doctor that enjoys a friendly and collegial environment, hands on medicine, and the ability to build great relationships with our clients. We have a very diverse clientele, so the ability to assess a situation and develop treatment plans based on the client is very important. .
We offer a mentorship program and our associates develop great surgical and diagnostic skills. Our hospital is equipped with digital dental and full body x-ray, ultrasound, Surgivet and Doppler monitors, IV pumps, Tono-pen and in-house lab equipment (CBC, blood chemistry, urinalysis, cortisol, T4) as well as other diagnostic equipment.
Expected Schedule is 4 days per week with one or two half day Saturdays per month, about 34 hours on average. We have scheduled blocks for phone calls/catchup, so you can leave on time. We love families with kids and will accommodate in every way we can: we are really good at flexibility. Each Dr. has a scheduled surgical day and appointments on the other 3 days. If you are interested in surgery and dentistry – we love that! If not we will adapt a schedule to fit.

Salary range will depend on experience and can be either straight salary (especially for new grads) or salary with production bonus.
