Elm Grove Animal Hospital in Wheeling, WV is expanding. Wheeling is located approximately two hours east of Columbus, an hour south west of Pittsburgh, and an hour north west of Morgantown. The city of Wheeling has a population close to 30,000 people with only four veterinary offices. Two local veterinarians have recently retired, leaving their clients in need of veterinary care.
We are looking to add 2-4 associates (part-time or full-time) to our well-established, private practice. Our practice understands work/life balance and works hard to take care of the Veterinarian, as we know the Doctor is the most important person in the practice. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome and encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for caring individuals interested in practicing high-quality medicine in a small animal practice.
Initially opened, by the late Dr. Michael Rubin in 1985, the practice features well paced, high quality veterinary medicine with a caring, compassionate, and friendly staff in a pleasant environment. We offer preventive and comprehensive health care to our patients. Our staff works with clients as a team to provide the best possible care for all pets. The practice is constantly striving to improve what it offers the local area and works hard to be a positive presence in the community. We want to ensure the doctor’s happiness here.
Any associate would have the opportunity to field some large animal work should he or she be so inclined. Our office is located in such an area where large animal veterinarians are few and demand is growing as others are retiring. Large animal work, interest, or experience is not a necessity or required.
No emergency or after hours office calls.
