Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital was founded over 50 years ago. We practice small animal medicine with the occasional small farm animal at the hospital. Our team of doctors, veterinary technicians, and support staff take great pride in quality, compassionate veterinary care for our patients and clients.
We are looking for a part time or full time compassionate veterinarian, that will strengthen our team. Experienced associate or new graduates welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Our hospital is located in between Augusta and Atlanta, Ga. in Thomson, Georgia. Located in a growing community that still has the small town feel, with big city amenities just a short drive on I-20.
Augusta is home to the Masters, Fort Gordon Army base, and Strom Thurmond lake being just minutes away.
Our animal hospital offers digital radiographs, cold laser therapy, PRP, in house diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, as well some orthopedic surgery, grooming, medical board and/or vacation boarding of pets.
Hours are Monday and Tuesday 8:00- 5:00, Wednesday 8:00-1:00, Thursday and Friday 8:00- 5:00. Closed on Saturday and no after hours.
Veterinarians have a day off during the week
We are well staffed with 4 veterinarians, 3 licensed veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff.
