Method

Samples are serially diluted in specialty media in triplicate, incubated overnight then plated to specialty agar in 96 well plates and incubated appropriately to encourage growth. The growth endpoints are read and the most probable number of bacteria in the sample at the time of dilution is calculated using MPN methodology.

Ship samples with ample ice packs in insulated container. DO NOT FREEZE. If shipping isolated organisms, please ensure the appropriate permit (domestic vs. international, which can be found on our website) is included with the shipment.
