“The Microbiome During Infection: a twisted tale of dogs, diet, and databases”

Dr. Dan Beiting is an Associate Professor of pathobiology at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pathobiology. He earned his PhD in immunology at Cornell University. Dr. Beiting works in the Center for Host-Microbial Interactions, which focuses on research through the One Health perspective. His lab leads the MicrobiomeDB project and develops tools and methods to analyze and visualize complex datasets.
