“Development of a bovine model of HPAI H5N1 infection for testing novel therapeutics”

Dr. Jeff Hogan is a Professor at the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine,  jointly appointed with the Department of Veterinary Biosciences and Diagnostic Imaging and the Department of Infectious Diseases. He earned his PhD in Microbiology from the University of Mississippi in 1999 and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Hogan’s research interests include host-pathogen interactions, viral and bacterial vaccine and therapeutic development, and pathogenesis of viral and bacterial pathogens.
