Dr. Julie Thompson is an Epidemic Intelligence Services Officer at the Center for Diseases Control and Prevention’s Bacterial Special Pathogens Branch. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 2022 and earned her DVM from the University of Georgia in 2019. Dr. Thompson’s work covers domestic and international outbreak investigations and emergency response trainings.
