Dr. Mostafa Zamanian is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pathobiological Sciences. He earned his Phd in neuroscience at Iowa State University and completed a post-doc fellowship at McGill University and Northwestern University. Dr. Zamanian has two NIH T32 training grants; one in parasitology and vector biology and the other in genomic sciences. His work focuses on parasite biology and host-parasite interactions for mosquito-borne filarial nematodes, soil-transmitted nematodes, and snail transmitted blood flukes.
