“Decoding a pathogen’s deceptive sweet nothings with AI, systems and synthetic glycobiology”

Dr. Nathan Lewis is a Professor and GRA Eminent Scholar in Molecular Cell Biology at the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in the University of Georgia’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, he is a member of the Center of Molecular Medicine and the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center. He joined the University in 2024, and his research focuses on glycobiology and biomanufacturing. Furthermore, he is a co-founder of research companies Augment Biologics Inc. and Neulmmune Inc.
